Arturo Gismondi again tapped South Florida restaurant designer, Pam Manhas of Manhas Design who also designed his Bar Sorana at Trattoria Romana. The Bavarian-inspired space is reminiscent of an authentic biergarten with many whimsical touches. The expansive indoor/outdoor bar, with its barrel stave barstools and wainscot details, opens the space and creates a high-energy social vibe. No biergarten would be complete without an energetic outdoor dining space. Unique tree stump barstools, festive lighting, communal bar height tables, several TV’s and a great view of the entertainment stage make it the place to be.
On the interior, antler chandeliers, wall sconces and bar pendants set the scene with a perfect glow. Stained wood wall paneling with rough sawn cedar trim envelopes the space while miles of vines and ivy leaves hang from the ceiling and remaining walls. Antique pine communal tables, custom murals by local artist Brittany Smith, an extensive display of authentic beer steins and a wall of cuckoo clocks complete the look.
Upstairs is Godfried’s Attic, the VIP bottle-service space that accommodates 40 guests. With its own bar, this is the prime spot for viewing the live bands on the 2nd floor stage, lounging on the embossed leather sofas and rustic accent seating and people watching the crowd below. A rack of wood barrels greets guests at the top of the stairs, vintage Oktoberfest artwork line the main wall while chalkboards promote the evening’s offerings.

Chops Lobster Bar in Royal Palm Place is a true destination, offering Boca Raton’s best quality USDA Prime meats and a wide selection of pristine seafood. Chef Marco Pindo comes from the Abruzzi region of Italy. It is both there and in the United States that he has perfected his craft. An extremely talented chef, he has brought to South Florida the traditions of a true Italian restaurant. The freshest and finest ingredients, prepared in some of the simplest ways to bring out the true “Sapori” of the dish. Chef Marco imports many of his ingredients directly from Italy, and has most recently returned from a trip there to secure Truffles for the coming season. As he has in the past (he brought Chilean Sea Bass to South Florida 19 years ago), he was one of the first to introduce Branzini to the South Florida dining scene. Skate, Triple-tail, Corvina, etc…..you can be sure to enjoy fish not found in other restaurants. Lightly grilled, filleted tableside, drizzled with fine imported Italian olive oil, it is the closest thing to dining in Italy without having to take a plane.
