Maria Calabresa-Echelard is an experienced Professional Print Beauty Make-up Artist, Licensed Esthetician, and owner of Gamine Beauty Bar.  She works runway to retail; T.V. to print and all mediums in between.  She freelances for designers, international skin care companies (Repechage and Erno Laszlo), and retailers throughout the U.S. (Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdales).

Maria has been part of the management team of MAC Cosmetics-including managing the MAC PRO Store in South Beach and worked special events for Shu Uemura and Giorgio Armani Cosmetics.  Her passion lies in creating modern beauty through her brow artistry, techniques for flawless skin, and make-up design-whether keying major runway shows or designing looks for the everyday woman.  She has completed post graduate study with Repechage and the International Dermal Institute.

She is a contributor to Les Nouvelles Esthetiques & Spa Magazine, an international trade magazine for spa and beauty professionals.  Maria gives back by writing and teaching courses in make-up and esthetics for both future and seasoned professionals; always willing to share her expertise and passion for the industry. She currently is an adjunct Professor at Palm Beach State College.
