Boca Raton Green Market

Grab your shopping bags and head on over to the Boca Raton Green Market scheduled for each Saturday, from October through May, 8am – 1pm. The Market takes place in the Monument Piazza, on the NE corner of the intersection of S Federal Hwy and SE Mizner Blvd, at the south end of Royal Palm Place. This location provides easy access and visibility to the thousands of shoppers who frequent the market throughout the season. Parking is conveniently located adjacent to the Green Market vendor site.

As with all markets operating in the Palm Beach County area, Boca’s Green Market is dedicated to local food production and consumption and encouraging direct from farm to table and supporting the Florida agricultural industry and the economy of the area. Each Saturday, fresh, locally-grown fruits and vegetables – along with fresh herbs, juices, fresh cut flowers, plants, fresh baked goods, prepared foods, doggie treats, sugar, hydroponic and organic foods -are available for purchase. In addition, health information and food samplings are available. The Market also includes a limited assortment of related arts and crafts – many of them handmade – including pottery, silk flowers, and more. Community service organizations are also on hand to share information or to promote a special project. Live music takes place on select Saturdays featuring the talents of local musicians. A continental breakfast and lunch are also available.

Best of all, Boca’s Green Market has become THE place to visit on Saturday mornings – where friends come together for a quick cup of fresh coffee and where friends depart with shopping bags filled with the freshest of produce – all taking place in an outdoor market setting in the heart of beautiful downtown Boca Raton. It’s just a fun place to be on Saturday morning in a relaxed atmosphere and a place for the entire family to enjoy a few hours in the outdoors.

Several special activities, promotions, and customer giveaways are planned throughout the season including free drawings, free shopping bags, and exciting entertainment. There will also be various activities for the young – face painting, balloons, clowns and some kiddie surprises! Local musicians and musical groups who are interested in volunteering to perform should contact the Market office. The Market is organized by the CHILDREN’S MUSEUM OF BOCA RATON and sponsored by the Royal Palm Place, Florida Health & Chiropractic Medicine, Aurora Nurses Home Health Care, with assistance from Palm Beach County Agricultural Enhancement Committee, and “Fresh From Florida”, a promotional campaign of Florida’s Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs.
