LUCX BOUTIQUE TAKES THE GO PINK CHALLENGE
Local Clothing Boutique Holds Charity Event in Support of Breast Cancer Awareness
Lucx Boutique in Royal Palm Place will be partnering with the Go Pink Challenge Foundation in hosting a shopping event from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan 18.
Pink is more than just the new black – it’s the color of awareness. Lucx Boutique, located on 307 Southeast Mizner Blvd., Boca Raton will be showcasing their fabulous clothing and jewelry line while at the same time, raising awareness for the fight against breast cancer.
While having the luxury to enjoy free food and coffee from generous donors, shoppers will be getting 15% off of all clothing purchases with 20% of the events final proceeds donated to the Go Pink Challenge.
The Go Pink Challenge will also be providing a speaker representative from the foundation to talk at 11:30 during the event about what Go Pink is and how the event is going to help fund breast cancer awareness research. Attendees will additionally have the opportunity to participate in a raffle drawing that will consist of numerous prizes such as gift cards to places such as The Corner Bakery and Rocco’s Tacos.
The goal of having such an event is not to publicize the fun that often comes with having free food, reduced prices and fantastic raffle prizes, although that is a predicted side effect to such a wonderful event. Rather, the focus here is to spread the awareness of the fight against breast cancer through a communal outreach, in hopes of also raising money to fund what it takes to bring awareness.
A contemporary women’s specialty boutique, Lucx Boutique carries clothing and accessories. Lucx strives to bring a mix of NYC’s SOHO flair with Parisian elegance to Boca Raton’s fashion-forward customer.
The Go Pink Challenge is a community-based initiative to raise funds and awareness in the fight against breast cancer. Proceeds from events are donated to the Challenge, benefiting the Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health and Wellness Institute’s Center for Breast Care at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
